Phil was the publisher of the Sierra Vista Herald/Bisbee Daily Review for 19 years (1996 - 2015). A native of Kansas, he’s a graduate of Kansas State University where his heart still resides in following the school's sports teams. He has served on numerous local boards and foundations as well as state and national newspaper associations. In an early term on the SIRP board, he was instrumental in starting the SIerra Vista Leadership program.
